James; Thank you so much for writing although I was taken aback by your intolerance.
As I explained in the post the act of homosexuality is a choice just like the act of heterosexuality. Considering that I have posted hundreds of essays online and only one (set) on homosexuality I am not sure where you get the idea that I am consumed with it. Perhaps you are committing a Freudian slip.
As to your question “How does anyone's sexual orientation affect your life?” I know that this one-liner is very popular but when you ask the question you do not consider that you are asking it to people who have never stated that anyone's sexual orientation affect their life. This is well within the box group think and only strikes those outside of your box as fallacious.
However, since you are asking I will brain storm and see if there are any ways that other people’s sexual orientation affect my life and yours.
For example: Let us imagine that it is someone’s sexual orientation to engage in sexually irresponsible behavior which leads to disease. I then marry them and they claim to be perfectly healthy. But I end up getting a disease and die from it or suffer for life. Or even though I have nothing to do with such a person, they contract disease and then demand my tax payer money to fund their cure. In this way their sexual orientation affects my life (and I am more than happy to help).
What if it is someone’s sexual orientation to rape children? It could have affected me as a child victim. Or would affect me if they, God forbid, did it to my children. In this way their sexual orientation could affect my life.
What if it is someone’s sexual orientation to commit adultery? It could break apart my marriage. In this way their sexual orientation could affect my life.
What if it is someone’s sexual orientation to be a peeping tom at my window? This could affect me in causing me to not feel safe at home. In this way their sexual orientation could affect my life.
What if it is someone’s sexual orientation to be a stalker? This could endanger my life and make me paranoid (rightly so). In this way their sexual orientation could affect my life.
What if it is someone’s sexual orientation to get aroused by committing masochism on me? Well, I am certainly not into that so I would be abused and get injured. In this way their sexual orientation could affect my life.
What if it is someone’s sexual orientation to marry multiple underage children? Again, my tax payer money may have to go towards caring for these children once law enforcement officials put them in state custody. In this way their sexual orientation could affect my life (and I am more than happy to help).
What if it is someone’s sexual orientation to have sex with my pets? My pets may be injured or become emotionally unstable. In this way their sexual orientation could affect my life.
Wow! I could just keep thinking of more and more ways that other people’s sexual orientation could affect my life. I never realized that before to such an extent. Thank you so much for bringing this to my realization.
