Mariano, have you ever read any of the writings of Baha'u'llah? Have you read, for example, the Book of Certitude? I have no idea if the dialog you have posted is legitamite or not but I can't see what purpose you would have in publishing it? You should be discussing ideas rather than trying to discredit the Bab. This post does you no credit.
Scholarship has moved on since Browne's day: the best overview of current knowledge is athttp://www.h-net.org/~bahai/bhpapers/babtrial.htmJust as there is endless scholarship about every incident in Acts, there is a lot of interest and study of incidents such as this in Babi history. I don't see what you're objecting to Marty. Of course if one wants to know what kind of person the Bab was, these confused and contradictory accounts are s no substitute for reading what the Bab wrote, but it's not meant to be. The purpose of this kind of scholarship is to show what cannot be believed, and perhaps, hopefully, retrieve some reliable fragments that fill out our picture.
