You have omitted to mention that although Abdu'l-Baha is the author (or at least provided the materials for) Traveller's Narrative, he is not the author of these words: they come from note E to that book, and are written by Browne and reflect what he had heard from a correspondent whom he describes as "a Persian friend in Teheran."
ReplyDeleteTo know who Shaykh Ahmad really was and what he taught, one needs to also look at his own writings.
