Are you saying that you believe there are (or once were) clouds flying around with people in them, or did I read that too fast?
It seems odd to use the Pharisee's understanding of resurrection as a guide to what Paul thought. He had an encounter with the living Lord, on the road to Damascus: if that didn't change his ideas about resurrection, it was a trivial event. That's not the way Paul tells it
Exactly senmcglinn. Paul's experience on the road to Damascus was obviously a 'vision' of Christ but turned a fanatical oppressor of Christians into their greatest apostle.
